I’ve lived at The Triton for 4 months after doing an extensive search through Foster City, and I can honestly say it’s been a fantastic experience.

The building is newer and better maintained than others in the area. My one maintenance request was addressed quickly even though it was a weekend. And the location is convenient and right next to water and a park/playground.

I was initially concerned when I heard there would be a change in management right after I moved in, but those concerns turned out to be completely unfounded. The new team has been nothing short of excellent.

In particular, Jocelyn has been a standout. She is incredibly competent, always responsive, and brings a friendly, positive energy to every interaction.

The community continues to be a beautiful, well-maintained place to live, and it’s clear the new management team takes real pride in their work. Highly recommend!

I put in a couple of maintenance request on the app Sunday evening …this morning (Tuesday) the maintenance manager Nico came to work on my unit. He was super courteous and friendly. He even removed his shoes before entering my unit which was so thoughtful! He was able to resolve my unit’s issue in such a timely manner. I also have to add on, the past weekend I had a laundry machine dilemma and the front staff Jocelyn was able to get the maintenance team out to me right away! I truly appreciate Nico and his team!

So far the community is great. The office staff have been very helpful when it comes down to questions about the community. The maintenance team has completed a couple of work orders and both Nicolas and Gio are quick and great to come up with a solution. Dishwasher is working great now

Disappointed with Leasing Office Response – Especially from Assistant Manager Jocelyn Fajardo

I’ve been a tenant at Triton for 7 years, and I’ve never experienced such dismissiveness from the leasing office until this year.

Between Feb and May 2025, I raised several concerns about overflowing trash rooms, unclear utility bills. Unfortunately, Assistant Manager Jocelyn Fajardo repeatedly ignored emails, and even raised her voice at me during an in-person visit.

At one point, she told a group of tenants that “this is not something residents should be concerned about,” referring to weeks-long trash buildup on multiple floors. It felt incredibly disrespectful and dismissive, especially to long-term tenants who have always paid rent and utilities on time.

Management has a responsibility to communicate clearly and respectfully. That expectation is not being met.

Greystar double charges my $265 moving out cleaning fee. I called the cleaning service, and paid them out of my own pocket in advance, and Greystar double charged it in the moving out fee.

When I noticed this and called the leasing office, they said they cannot do anything because my check for the moving out fee is already retrieved.

I cannot get back my deposit because of this.

Too bad management overall.

The parcel room is always jammed, the elevator constantly needs repair, the trash room often gets nasty, and it is hard to see upcoming vehicle in the garage. I am glad that I have left and do not need to live in this apartment any more.

The apartment it self is very quiet and nice on the interior, and the maintenance / leasing office team have been support friendly and supportive. Big shout out to Nicholas for the quick responses and the chill attitude.

Slight con, the walls are thin between neighbors, but there aren't much noice from the outside

The overall experience is ok, certainly not worth the price it is asking for. Management company is small compared to Avalon or others, sometimes they don’t reply to emails.

The appliances are much worse than apartments I have stayed in SF. The fridge is always freezing vegetables. The dishwasher and microwave all had to be replaced while I was there. HVAC never worked.

Management had issues keeping a constant maintainence staff so there were a lot of turnover.

I think it is still livable, but the price they are asking for is generally not worth it.
