Beautiful spot. The water was very clean and clear. There are several picnic tables and bbq pits. There are vault toilets but I'm not sure if it's open. There's a boat ramp and dock. The water was super cold. Really nice spot for paddle boards

The South Forebay is a beautiful little recreational lake with covered picnic table areas along with barbecue grills. A large boat ramp and dock has plenty of room for backing your boat into the lake for a day of playing on the water. A large beach area with shade trees is the perfect place for families to beat the heat and views of the local wildlife. The fish cleaning station is perfect for cleaning your catch of the day or rinsing your hands after visiting the ADA compliant out building, which is well maintained by State Parks. The Point is the center of activities with 360° views of the beautiful foothills around Oroville.

The mountains that surround this area is so nice. Makes for an enjoyable day at the water. I go here just to park and enjoy the view, hangout with my kiddos and let them jump off the boat dock.

Pets allowed on leash...and on your kayaks:)

Took the kids here for a school field trip. Great place for the kids to get in the water safely. It's only about waste deep to an adult 30 feet out. The grounds are clean. There is plenty of shade, picnic tables and BBQs. Lifeguard on duty but not sure how often. Unfortunately though, no other ammenities like a playground

Weekends are very crowded and it's a little small for the boat but great place to take the jet skis during the week. 5$ to use the launch ramp.
