If I can return the backpack, I will.
I bought this Timbuk2 Parker commuter backpack because I was happy with my previous backpack from the same manufacturer. I've had that backpack for many years now and its showing its age, so I decided to purchase one for my next trip to Europe. The Parker Commuter pack is bigger than my old Timbuk2 so I was thinking it can carry more for my journey. That was its only advantage.
I have so many concerns about this back pack. 1. The back pack CAN'T stand on its own. The pack will tip over unless its propped against something solid. The shape doesn't allow it to stand alone. So annoying. 2. The interior lacks adequate pockets. There are only 1 large packet at the back and another in the front. It doesn't allow one to separate items or travel essentials. This is such a departure from my previous timbuk2 bag. 3. The shoulder straps lacked padding(!). Timbuk2 decided to only provide the least amount of foam padding and leave the rest as nylon straps which of course constantly rubs and chafed on the shoulder even with a light weight. I have to manually lift it off my shoulders just to get relief. 4. The pockets outside, though accessible, are of odd sizes and not very intuitive for traveling.-- Overall, this back pack is a BIG disappointment for me. The increased cost doesn't correspond to the lack of good design. This will probably be my last Timbuk2.

I love timbuk2 bags way too much. Probably an unhealthy amount. I would give the outlet 5 stars if I hadn't overpaid for the bag I got. Paid $130 and thought it was a good deal, it's on Amazon for $79. Meh. Go in with your phone and price compare to online prices. I am so disappointed in myself for assuming the prices were good.

I liked my experience here. I bought 2 bags after looking at this Brand for about 3 years. I appreciate the store being organized and the staff allowing the customer to browse without breathing down their necks. They have some good deals and the manager even hooked me up on a bag I couldn’t live without (wouldn’t you like to know lol). Seriously check it out and get a bag!

Had a great experience shopping here in February 2021. Three employees were all very helpful and accommodating. I bought three bags. The staff went in the back storage to get me bags still in the plastic, that had not been displayed yet. Got a $300 bag for $60, and a $250 bag for $50. Great deals to be had. Knowledgeable employees who can explain the products.

Good that there's a Timbuk2 store in the Livermore outlet center, but the selection in the store is very limited. We were looking for a backpack for college student, but the backpacks in the store were either too small or not for students. We'll visit the store in SF instead.

I enjoy shopping here, being that I love.... LOVE... Messenger bags, they certainly have an excellent variety of styles, colors and sizes...prices are just right... It is an outlet so ... Sales are final... Just remember that ....
