In mid January 2023, my Rolex watch band broke and took it to the well known local jewelry/watch store in the Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks Mall. After waiting for 3 months to get it fixed, they still have NO ideas of when my watch band get repaired. So I took it to Time Spot , in the same mall, they looked at it and got it repaired in less than 2 hours and the repair cost was less than 20% of original jewelry/watch store estimates. Don’t get ripped off for your watch repair because it’s well known . You have an option to take it to other capable watch repair stores and still get a full satisfactions. Thank you Tim and Danny.

Excellent place to go if you need a battery replaced or a new watch band. They are very fast and helpful. I have taken 4 to 5 watches at a time to be repaired. And been able to pick them back up within 45 minutes.

This place has the best collection of very good brands watches which are so reliable to the second & they carry everything & anything that is related to Time & its accessories . Now as far as selection of watches I was so impressed because everything I have seen were priced very competitive. & besides the selection the service in second to none.

The watch repair & the watch tune up department means serious business there. & the management is very precise & accurate in what they promise to deliver. The best part is you can drop off your watch & come back in a few minutes all tuned up to go as the battery replacement job is done on the spot, & so reasonable .
& since I have had many watches throughout my life, I trust this place the most because they are also specialized in repairing watches on the Spot right there at the show room & so dedicated to any thing that has to do with Time!
So when I drop off my watches for a battery change , I usually walk around admiring the new imported watches & the recent fashion while I am looking at the display window for other models & gift ideas, I find every display is full of wonderful watches, They always tell me that it normally takes 15-to 20 minutes but it's done in less than 8 minutes.
The showroom is very organized & the manager always offers very fair prices on every item that I ever asked a price quote.. My friends also love this place & shop there for new & rare vintage watches & bring their watches for clean & tune every year. Besides all that, Time Spot is Highly knowledgeable about good investments . & very recommended by my connoisseur friends that collect watches & cherish them for life,

I brought my G-Shock to get the battery replaced. The guy gave me a price, it was steep. He quickly explained why it was pricey. He said “G-Shocks take two batteries and they are difficult to work on”. I understood, and agreed. Also before leaving, he mentioned if I want the watch waterproof again - $20 up charge, if not he gave me a cheaper price. I said “I want my watch back to its original condition, so yes, make it waterproof”. Maybe when changing the battery you compromise the gasket or seal the watch has? I’ll get back to that.

I came back a few hours later, Watch was working! I paid him and left. Got in my car and noticed the sub-dial wasn’t calibrated. The time was correct. I went back and mentioned to him the sub-dial isn’t calibrated. He looks up and says “I don’t know how to do that!” I gave him a long stare then says “G-Shocks have that problem when you change the batteries! I’ve done these watches 40 times and I always have that issue!” So I said “well I just paid you, and you could’ve told me that’s an issue in the beginning before leaving my watch”. He kept apologizing. It took a YouTube video to show me how to calibrate the sub-dial. Very easy to do, unbelievable the “watch experts” couldn’t do that. Or at the very least try to do it for me. They were being lazy. That’s like hiring a mechanic who doesn’t know how to drive, or reset a oil light.

Here’s what really ticked me off. Just to see “how hard it is” to change G-Shock watch batteries, I YouTube’d it. Turns out that “waterproof” seal the guy mentioned he needs to remove or replace to make waterproof again, Hence the $20 up-charge. Is a damn reusable O-ring that seals the metal plate to the back of the watch. Your supposed re-lubricate the O-Ring after removing the back plate so it doesn’t lose the seal. $20 for the tiny drop of lube. Something like that shouldn’t even be up sold. It’s just plain common sense to do that out of common courtesy.

Not honest, and lazy work. Unfortunate because this is where I bought my $400 G-Shock watch. Which I had mentioned to him when giving him my watch. Ripping off returning customers, unreal.

Very bad experience today, would not go back. Brought my brand new watch the band adjusted (1-2 links needed to be removed). Quoted $10. Specifically told the tech I felt it would only be 1 or 2 links removed and asked him to start with 1. He took 3. Asked him to put 2 back, he put 1 back, still too tight. Finally he left it at 1 removed, changed price to $15 but conceded when called out... And he put links back on wrong side (lopsided). Left a huge scratch in one link but didn't say anything, found out while I was walking out. Made him take out the scratched one and put the remaining good one in. This is a licensed Citizen dealer mind you... Just glad the "tech" didn't do more damage... Stay clear of this place/not trustworthy/did not respect (and actually did damage to) my property or perform the service I asked the first or second time.

I brought a Tiffany brass desk clock in with low expectations that it could be repaired. Another shop had quoted me a minimum of $220.00.
In 3 business days , for $65.00 it's as good as new.

The shop has great watch selections for Seiko, Tissot, Citizens, Michael Kors, etc. Tim was great at assisting me while teaching me more about watches. Will come back again
