Great shop and crew. We dropped our boards off for an overnight tune-up and talked with the staff. Seems like a solid group of guys and the store has a good clothing section offering volcom, vans and a board selection too. Hit them up if you need anything. They have a donation box on the counter for their new skatepark, please contribute!

This is the only real snowboard shop in the basin, From soft goods to hard goods, they literally have almost everything in stock. Incredible gear for the entire family dad,wife,kids you name it. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, And friendly. Incredible selection of sneakers boots boards, hoodies, jackets, stickers, skateboards everything. Do not waste your time going anywhere , support local shops. Come down and talk to people in person, ask questions and get fitted for proper gear, stop just buying things on the Internet because it’s cheap.

I was getting in late to Tahoe and needed a pair of skins for a backcountry course. I called them, paid over the phone, and had a friend pick up the skins. Was happy they were able to do this for me.

The skins were the wrong size. Bag was labelled with one size, skins were a different size. No big deal, mistakes happen. Went back the next morning and they sorted me out with correct size skins and I just showed up late to my Backcountry course with uncut skins.

Went back that afternoon to get the skins cut. An employee apologized for the situation, paused a board repair that was in progress, and cut the skins for me. Unfortunately he did a bit of a rough job (see photo). I would've just done em myself if I'd known he would rush through the skin cutting job.

Additionally, the glue on skins seems melted and the skins are incredibly hard to pull apart. I wonder if they may have been stored improperly at the shop.

I'd be happy for the shop to make this right but overall would not recommend this shop for Backcountry gear as perhaps they're more focused on skating park snowboarding.

Excellent board shop: Well designed, super stylish, and full of top quality independent snow and skate gear. The staff are really helpful and their tech shop is on point. Best board shop in North Lake, hands down.

I placed an order online for a premium board that was on sale. It was a great deal, so I jumped on it. However, I decided to cancel because it was shorter than what I usually ride. During the refund process, we encountered some issues with PayPal (PayPal's fault), but the communication throughout was outstanding! The customer service was the kind you expect from a small, family-owned business—truly exceptional. They have definitely earned my loyalty, and I will be returning to their site for my next gear purchase.

We’ve never had such a helpful experience shopping for snowboarding equipment. Shane explained everything we needed to know and anything we asked him in the most respectful and straightforward way. The selection of boards is pretty vast. We bought a sweet board and bindings right for our level, and Shane waxed/set it all up.
