The flyaway is the easiest and fastest way to get down to LAX without any hassle! You can purchase and use tickets easily on their app, which is great when traveling with young kids. The bus is comfortable to ride. The staff is friendly and helpful. Drop off was easy and when we returned at night, the bus was right outside from our baggage claim. Super easy! And the best part was I didn't have to drive and fight LA traffic!

I have used the flyaway bus and parking a few times now. It is very convenient. I love not having to worry about driving in the crazy traffic. The parking is cheap, and the bus is nice. Everyone I've dealt with has been very pleasant. I really like the updated ticket purchasing, just tapping your card when you get on the bus. Very easy and quick.

The flyaway is a great one-way or roundtrip alternative to get into the city of LA or the valley from LAX using public transportation. It's affordable and pretty comfortable for a bus ride. The app makes it easy to purchase tickets ahead of time, and there's plenty of space for baggage. The one set back are some of the wait times and unorganized lines to get onto the bus. But honestly, it's not that bad given that you can access a bus right outside of the terminals, and they have many buses running at once.

Haven't been there in years. What a pleasant surprise. Didn't walk into the terminal but looks clean and efficient. Was there layer in the evening to pick up family members. Found each other in the spacious and lighted parking lot. Eliminate the stress of driving to LAX and fighting traffic. Sorry no pics.

This was our first time taking the fly away. We came from Palmdale California and had an early morning flight. So my advice when going early morning. Just know the traffic was very mild and we arrived at LAX way too early. We had a 5:00 a.m. flight and planned on being at the airport. 2 hours early per recommendations. However, arriving at LAX at 3:00 a.m. was a big waste of time because literally not one thing opened up at the airport until 3:45 a.m.. there was nowhere to check our luggage and there were no TSA lines open until 3:45.
So if you're going in early, the ride from Van nuys to LAX was under 25 minutes. So keep that in mind.
When we arrived back at LAX we were at the United terminal. Upon talking to an airline attendant, they advised us to walk to at least terminal 5 to be closer to the middle of the airport as United being at terminal 7 is at the end of the loop. And typically what happens with the FlyAway buses is that they are full by the time it gets to terminal 7. If so, you may have a longer than normal wait, unless you're ready to hoof it a few terminals down. Like I said we walked down to terminal 5 and the bus was about halfway full and we were able to get on without any problems there. but the bus was full after that and our bus did not stop at terminal 6 or 7:00. Just went straight to Van nuys. I recommend booking online and paying for your car ahead of time online. If you do that, you literally just pull up to the gate and they already have your license plate number in their system and the gate will automatically open when you enter and will automatically open when you leave. It was easy peasy, And I will definitely always pay ahead of time online. We also downloaded the app and paid ahead of time for our tickets and just used the app to scan in on the bus. When using the app your tickets will just sit there and then right before you get on the bus you pull up the app and then activate your ticket. Do not activate the tickets ahead of time as they are only active for a short window. But it also made it easy to simply have the tickets downloaded on our phones.
Hope this helps guys. Definitely a great option if you're having to travel to LAX. And the cheapest parking in town at six bucks a day. And for the record, the parking was covered and secure.

It is a great service, always on time except the time previous to my last one that had a delay of more than 1hour out of Van Nuys, otherwise Flyaway would’ve gotten 5stars.
The buses are very clean, convenient and comfortable.
I wish this service would extend to Disneyland or Costa Mesa area!!!

The schedule they give you is pretty much useless but that's because of LA traffic. Great way to close some distance for a low cost. I've always had a good experience. Bring a bit of cash to tip the person who brings your luggage out, their back probably hurts. Lol

They don't take cash, (which is illegal, I don't care what excuse they use, it's illegal. Cash is legal tender for all debts public and private in the United States, which last time I checked, they are in the United States) to begin with,and they don't tell you when you get picked up at the airport until you get to the bus terminal in Van Nuys. So here is a good hack for all. I showed up with cash only and they wouldn't accept it so I just walked through the gate and left. What are they going to do they can't arrest me because I didn't steal anything, and I offered to pay which they did not accept, so that is their problem. I recommend everybody do it and force them to do the right thing, which is to offer cash payment. This is not China I know it's confusing out there in Commiefronia, I get it , but people demand your rights, and stop these globalists! Fight back!
