Great experience. I ordered a Treager on line. Went to store to pick it up. All staff was helpful and friendly. They loaded my smoker inside my car then "off we went". Super great experience, thanks to all at this Tracy CA location !!!

Lydia was so quick to help us find a solution to our broken faucet coupling nut. We had went to Home Depot the day prior and the gentleman that helped us ended up pointing us in the wrong direction and we got the wrong thing 🙁 so thank you so much Lydia! Your friendliness, knowledge, and patience was greatly appreciated. We had no idea what we were talking about and she was able to translate what I needed help with when I couldn’t find the words to describe it.

Van’s Ace Hardware in Tracy~ the prices on everything are crazy expensive. Are they the same in all the Ace Hardware stores ? The store Manager Rose wasn’t willing to mark down more than 20 percent on an outdoor rocking chair with a price tag for $189.99 that was missing the cushion and had damage (scratches in the resin wicker) and something obviously had been spilled on the back and seat, that would require a deep cleaning or a coverup. I guess she would rather throw it in the trash than be fair and reasonable. Online price was $139.99 at the same time the store had it priced at $189.99 ! I checked the online price frequently because I really wanted to buy it but trying to save up the money and now they raised the price to $199.99 (item #8081451) Why raise the price for an outdoor rocking chair in December? The salesman in the garden center checked the stock and said the warehouse shows over 400 in stock. Ace Hardware is not competitive with their ridiculously high prices. No wonder retail stores are closing down, while Amazon prices are very competitive and has millions of happy customers shopping online.

Absolutely as unprofessional as can be for customer service. I purchased an evaporative cooler that failed to meet any expectations of actually cooling the room down and tried to return the item only 9 days after purchase. Item was repacked as initially purchased and presented them with the receipt. The store clerk and then manager told me that the item could not be returned as it had been used. I explained that there is nothing to inform a customer that this item could not be returned. The receipt states no returns on Tools, Clearance or Power Equipment, also there is no signs in the store stating it could not be returned as well. I explained this to the manager and he said they would now put up a sign stating such. This will hopefully help the next customer to be informed but does me no good. $730.00 lost and a cooler that doesn't cool. It would let me give zero stars, that's the only reason they even got 1.

The associates are extremely helpful here. Has a specific bolt I needed for a old motorcycle. Was next to impossible to find the right sizes at any hardware store. Stopped by here on a whim and was greeted by a gentleman in the back who spent 10+ minutes helping me find what I needed. He looked everywhere for me and even found it. Couldn't be happier
