have been using Vlad's alterations services for over 10 years now and have come to respect and admire her (Alla)work from start to finish. Her unmatched sartorial wisdom, willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate various specifications, and incredibly high quality work have brought me back to Vlad's time and time again. Her attention to detail, ability to deconstruct a garment and alter it to perfection, and on-time delivery make Vlad’s alterations one of the best in Auburn I would highly recommend her service to anyone looking for a quality tailor to work with.

Noticed right away broken glass in the parking lot in front of the shop. Yes, there is a bar next door but you should still clean up for your clients. Needed the waist taken in on tailored shorts. Was quoted $40 and like a dummy I agreed to this high price for a simple job. The shorts were a little wrinkled and had a loose button but for the price I thought that would be included. Also, the owner had a horrible attitude and very rude all the time. Came back to pick up shorts a week later and the glass was still there in front of the shop and the shorts still were wrinkled with a loose button. The tailoring was good no complaints about that but I will NEVER go back due to poor customer service and over priced!

Had a horrible experience! My friends and I went there to get fittings for a wedding, the lady that works there was rude from the jump, she told us to wait in the car if we weren’t ready to begin, was dismissive of the bride’s ideas and kept saying that if she did the altercations the bride asked for it would look ugly and ghetto; the bride was very disappointed and upset throughout the entire time we spent there, she even began to question if her wedding dress was ugly. We spent a lot more time than we anticipated there mostly because she barely paid attention to us or gave us assistance even though we were the only ones at the store, she spent most of her time behind the counter and around back doing god knows what. She tried to push her own opinions and ideas onto the bride, also said she “wasn’t able to do” most of the alterations the bride wanted which weren’t over the top, the bride just needed to make some adjustments so her dress fits her because she lost a lot of weight. Over all a horrible experience, made the bride upset, and wanted to charge a crazy price for minor alterations.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Staff : EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Our experience: Our friend is getting married and her family is in Sacramento so we drove all the way from San Francisco for a terrible experience. As soon as we got there she told us to wait for the braids parents outside and not in the Store. She turned off the AC so we wouldn’t stay in the Store. So he had 4 dresses to be fixed and in which dress she complained, she didn’t help in minute, always negative and saying NO for everything, saying she is too busy and etc. She also overcharged and kept saying mean things. That’s a special day in her life and to have such a bad energy and service. This Store should be closed. Each of the clients who went there while we’re there was very bad treated. Don’t go there!

I have gone to Vlads for many years with a variety of alterations & hemming needs. They have always done beautiful work & have been so friendly & honest! I highly recommend for all your alteration needs!

Great service. They fixed the pants I brought them and it was great to know that they were able to add holes to my belts. We will definitely be back for their services. I really recommend them.

I called the business before arriving and said “how much is hemming and tapering for pants?” She said “depends, $20-25 depending on jeans or dress pants” I said okay, I’ll be there in a few min I brought my scrub pants and she told me it’ll be $30 because it’s more work, so I said that’s fine and gave her 2 scrub pants. She said that’ll be “$120” I was like I thought when I asked on the phone how much is it for tapering and hemming you said $20/25, She states ”I’m sorry maybe I misunderstood.” So I ended up paying with credit card, and ask her “What happens when I come to pick up the clothes and I don’t like the fit?” She says “have you never been here before!?! I’ll fix it!” I asked “free of charge?” She says “Yes. If you want to go somewhere else you can. And I can give you money back!!! I hope you find somewhere cheaper and better…” I honestly don’t want to deal with her unfriendliness so I did ask for a refund. She wrote me a check of $120. I write this review in hopes that she improves in her customer service.

The person that helped me was so unfriendly and unprofessional. I asked her a couple of times to make my strapless dress tighter as I felt it would fall down. She told me no because it would make my fat show even more. What can you do but laugh at her extreme rudeness! I picked up my dress and couldn’t wear it as it is still too loose. I prefer to give my money to deserving small business owners.
