I bought a pair of earrings last month and was told they were made from sterling silver. After 1 day of wear it irritated my ears so badly I couldn’t wear earrings again for over a week. I’ve been wearing sterling silver all my life and have never had a reaction to it like that. I suspect they weren’t actually sterling but instead some type of mixed metal.

I grew up in Truckee. The white buffalo back than was dedicated to Native American Culture. That was all that was in there when I was younger. You got to see the ambiance of history through their culture. Katchina Dolls, pottery, stones carved into animals, blankets etc. I went back way before the pandemic & the town of Truckee was ruined to me. This store was the ONLY place in town I loved, they changed the entire store & its a real shame. T shirts, hot sauce, that NOT how it used to look. The white buffalo in the Native American Culture is very special. The store needs to get back to what it was, special vs the "modern" bore. But i loved the store

We took a day trip from Tahoe to Truckee and were looking for a Christmas present for our parents. Immediately upon walking into the store the atmosphere and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We found a wedding vase with a wonderful story behind it as a gift for our parents. The ladies graciously offered to gift wrap it and the young lady that did it did a beautiful job. Every one in the store was so wonderfully welcoming. I plan on going back one more time before our trip back home as there is another gift there I feel I have to have! If the store hadn't been so great I wouldn't even consider making the trip back.

This is the most wonderful shop! When my wife and I were engaged, just before we married, we visited this shop and picked out two of the most unique rings made of gold and quartz. Unfortunately, we didn't have the funds to purchase these back then.

Not too long ago my wife was visiting the area again and as a surprise she purchased these same rings for our 10 year Anniversary. What a grand surprise!!!

Their customer service is stellar as well. You will LOVE this shop!
