I had the best experience getting my phone repaired at Fix My Gadget! From the moment I walked in, the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not only did he take the time to explain the issue with my device in simple terms, but he also got to work right away. His knowledge was impressive, and I could tell he really cared about making sure my phone was fixed properly.

What really stood out was how fast he was! My phone was up and running again in no time, and the repair was done flawlessly. Warning: Deceptive and Unethical Repair Shop

I brought my laptop here for a simple battery replacement, but it turned into a nightmare. The owner, Mohammad, uses fake friendliness—offering water, food, and “deals”—to gain trust, only to scam you later.

Without my consent, the owner, Mohammad, supposedly replaced the keyboard along with the battery, even though he originally claimed the battery was the only issue. He charged me for the unauthorized keyboard replacement, and when I took the laptop home, it still didn't work. Worse, he deleted all my important files—years of music projects—despite me telling him I had no backup.

When I asked for a refund, he refused and instead tried to sell me another laptop, pretending it was a favor. He even snatched my laptop without permission, hid it, and kept pressuring me to pay more. I later learned this is a pattern—he damages expensive devices, gives customers low-quality replacements, and resells their original machines for profit.

Don’t be fooled by his charm. If you value your time, money, and data, stay far away from this shop. The business operates with manipulative, unethical practices, and when confronted, the owner avoids responsibility and calls the police, making you out to be the problem.

Excellent service, I have been coming here for years to get phones fixed but this last one was more challenging due to my phone having issues but everyone on the team was patient and made sure I left happy, they even replaced my phone and was able to recover and transfer all my data! I even got a slice a pizza on my way out ! Thank you so much to everyone at fix my gadget! Hands down best service in town.

I will never go back to this place. I brought them an irreplaceable piece of medical gear from a company itout of business. On the phone, they said they would work on it the same day. We didn't need it back that fast, so we said we would pick it up in four or five days. What followed was a month-long odyssey of abysmal communication, them not knowing where the device was, and ultimately extracting the device from them still in its broken state. The place is chaotic and disorganized, usually with several people waiting. Calling on the phone was incredibly frustrating. The woman would tell me that she had to ask her boss and he wasn't available and she would call me back. Then she wouldn't call me back. Then I called the next day and even said that she had said she was going to call me back but she wouldn't, and was she really going to call me back today. She said yes, she was. Of course, I didn't ever hear from her. When my wife went in to talk to them a few days later, the woman said she had been busy as an excuse for not having called me back. Then when I called again and ultimately said we were going to pick it up unfixed, she said I'd have to pay a labor charge! Thankfully, the guy didn't try to make that charge when I did pick it up. All in all, we wasted about 4 1/2 hours. My device isn't the easiest job, I'm sure, but the extreme lack of communication and disorganization, and even being unable to locate the device the first time we went to pick it up, leaves me with zero confidence in them.

Update: I read Mohamed's response. My wife did go in and demand that we get our gear back after three weeks of waiting and no messages. They couldn't find the device so she couldn't pick it up that day. We got no subsequent call to come get it, but I calle and told them we were going to come get it.

A good alternative to Auburn, but don't expect the immediate service others have had. Their style is to warmly greet you as soon as you walk in, take a quick look at your gadget and work on it until the next customer walks in. At that point, they set your gadget down and start the same process with the new customer. The solution is to plan on dropping off your gadget and coming back later.

Qiuetech Associates told me not to go here. They couldn't have been more wrong. They replaced my iPhone battery for $80 in less then an hour. On top of that they were extremely friendly. They offered me water, coffee, & even lunch. I jokingly said I will take a shrimp fried rice. No joke, they gave me a big bowl of home cooked authentic Kurtistahnie byranni rice w/ meat & potatoes for free. That is next level customer service & I would give them 10 stars if I could. Don’t listen to the haters in town. This shop is a blessing to have in our small, behind the times town…

I had tried to go to this place a couple weeks ago and kept finding it closed. I was afraid they had gone out of business!
I tried again today and Mohammed and his team were there and super friendly. Turns out he had just been sick.
They fixed my Samsung phone charging port that had been failing for the last year in under an hour. Had I known this business was there I would have come sooner!

My charging port was failing due to some water damage. I dropped it off, and they gave me a loaner for 90 minutes or so they had it. They were able to fix the issue and sent me on my way with a handshake. Great service and customer care.
