Very good and quick service. I had flat tire on my van, way back from snow park to bay area. Called them from near the freeway and they said yes to flat repair. Once I went there they repaired flat tire in 20 minutes and adjusted tire pressures to 40 (instead of 33) in all tires due to very cold weather. Top of all - i was surprised when they said no charge at all for flat repair. I asked twice to confirm. Very courteous and quick services with smile. Happy to come across such a good tire shop!

Easily the best experience I've ever had at a tire shop. They were so responsive to my tight schedule tried to tip him 20 bucks which they refused but I insisted and left it on the counter with a smile of appreciation and gratitude. Beverly helped me out on a tight timeline! 5+ stars

Kenny, Monica and Jose do a top notch job making sure everybody who comes in there is taken care of and on the road again safely. They either don't have knowledge about what they are doing or they are crooks.

Either way, do not recommend.

Came in with what would be an easy flat repair. They knew I was in a hurry but didn't know that, I am also in the industry over 20 years now.
I know for a fact that this tire could be easily patched. They did not take the time. They just looked at the surface area and said I'd need a new tire. I politely took the tire back and left this review.
I went and bought a simple repair kit from Napa and fixed it myself. I wanted to give a local business an opportunity but I will definitely not ever recommend anybody for this location.

I was very impressed with Stone’s. I was in town from out of state when I had a tire issue. They were so kind and helped me find a set in my budget. They installed them so fast too! If I lived there, this would be my go to tire shop. Make it yours and you will not regret it!

Stone’s Country Tire is the best tire shop in Truckee, bar none. I will go nowhere else in the future.

Whether you need new tires (I will be having my Pirelli snow tires done here this winter! Super psyched!) or… need an emergency repair…

My girlfriend/partner and I become stuck in a serious situation in the truckee area (out of our control and unrelated to tires) that pushed our limits to the breaking point, We had a punctured tire simultaneously with no time or bandwidth to deal with.
The amazing guys at Stone’s Country Tires selflessly repaired the tire (before they were even open, with zero $ charge) and had us on our way in less than 15 minutes!
It may be hard to imagine how a tire repair could be game changing, but when it coincides with a significant life event, it very definitely can be.
Stone’s Country Tire in Truckee proved that good people do exist.

Been coming here for years, This is the only Tire Shop you should use if you’re anywhere in the Lake Tahoe basin or Truckee. They are always willing to help with any situation whether it’s new tires, a flat tire, low air, your tires you need to put it up on the lift to check something underneath I would give this place 25 stars if I could, I highly recommend this shop for all tire and maintenance needs.
