Please advise the soldiers in the unmarked white box trucks to follow traffic rules. They are slowing down traffic by cruising in the passing lane.

I went to Communications school here back in 1995 - 1996 and a pulled a few CAX here in the following years. As far as Marine Corps bases go it was boring and didn't have much to do around the base.

There was this weird guy standing there saying "hey there devil get yer hands out of yer daggon pockets" made it feel like I had to be pretty important to enter, kinda like it was for only properly dressed persons. The only problem was that there were these people demanding I salute them because their husband was an officer. Rate 4/5. probably have to go again because booze off base is too far, and CIF turn in is driving me to drink more

Edit*** A staff NCO said I should take this down

Stay away from the DEER ID Card section!
After waiting two months for an appointment my encounter in the ID section was horrible except for the military reception
The “ lady” was rude and condescending. I had my documents but she spent her time criticizing the Marine Corp specifically her now ex husband. She also hated California and her job
The Warrant Officer at the desk was nondescript and passive. The Warrant Officer was upset when I said she was an idiot. He did not want to hear any of it because it was lunch time. With military like these who needs foreign enemies
Trump needs to close this terrible unprofessional base.

Beautiful place after the rains. Very green, and a lot of open space. I saw a rainbow and it looked like I could drive right into it about one minute away.

Best place in town. If you’re a veteran, you would love some of the stuff they have.
